Trekking of the Bariloche refuges- Nahuel Huapi National Park

This is one of the most classic and historical trekking in Argentina. Within the Nahuel Huapi National Park  and next to the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. We connect the four typical mountain refugee  of this region, enjoying the Andean-Patagonian forests in Rio Negro province. Four nights in mountain refugee.

Day 1: Meeting in the city of Bariloche in the morning. Last purchases and preparations + equipment check (it is important to be able to do it the day before). Transfer to Villa Catedral. First section of the trek to Arroyo Van Titter, Piedritas refuge area and from there to the Frey refuge.

Walking hours: 5

Day 2: We leave very early to enjoy a long day of trekking. We skirt the Tonceck lagoon and then the Schmoll, we climb to the edge of the Cathedral and then we descend to the bottom of the great Rucaco valley to which we go back to climb a large edge again. Final descent to the San Martin refuge, Jakob lagoon.

Walking hours: 10

Day 3: Crossing day to the Laguna Negra refuge. We pass through the Christmas ridge and descend to the Arroyo Goye valley. Then climb to the shelter.

Day 4: Final day. We skirt the Laguna Negra, ascend to the Bailley Willis ridge and then to the ridge of Cerro López. We pass by the shelter of the same name and descend to the route, to finally move to Bariloche. End of our services and program. Walking hours: 10

Each person carries his own backpack. This trekking has a moderate physical and technical difficulty.
